About the Journal
The Journal for the Study of Religions and Ideologies (JSRI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by SCIRI (Seminar for the Interdisciplinary Research of Religions and Ideologies) and SACRI (Academic Society for the Research of Religions and Ideologies). The journal addresses scholars and researchers interested in the interdisciplinary study of religions, ideologies, and their interactions with contemporary culture and society.
JSRI encourages interdisciplinary approaches to religion and ideology, with particular attention to religious studies, philosophy of religion, ethics, political philosophy and political science, anthropology, sociology, interreligious dialogue, communication studies, and related fields. Contributions are expected to engage meaningfully with the religious, ideological, ethical, or symbolic dimensions of the issues they address.
JSRI is an open-access journal published online in three issues per year. The journal does not charge authors submission, processing, or publication fees, and all published articles are freely available to readers.
